Having never raced or tested in Portugal, track time was important for Armaan as the rest of the field had all done their pre season testing at the Algarve circuit in Portugal. But this was not to be as Engine problems plagued Armaan. First the throttle sensors failed, then the ECU map and finally the Turbo blew. Thus qualifying was more of a practice session for Armaan. After qualifying 16th, Armaan again showed his true mettle by driving another fantastic race to finish 7th and pick up 4 more points. However in Race 2, he has hit hard from behind by Vasiluvakas in the very 1st corner of Lap 1 which ended his race immediately.
