Indian in Indy

Racing takes you to all corners of the world!

Having raced in India, Asia and Europe, it was exciting to become the First Indian Driver to enter Indy Car Racing via the Firestone Indy Lights Series.

With a great bunch of guys at Fan Force United and the backing of JK Tyres, there I was taking my first steps in American racing!

Firestone Indy Lights

Firestone Indy Lights is the official development series of the IZOD IndyCar Series and Indianapolis 500®

INDYCAR is the sanctioning body of the IZOD IndyCar Series, Firestone Indy Lights, Star Mazda Championship and USF2000. Indy Lights races are scheduled around the IRL calendar and are among the most competitive races in the world of motorsport.

Personally it was exhilarating to take on the challenge of racing in North America, with Oval tracks and stick-shift cars and I loved every bit of it!

Team

It is not everyday that one comes across a racing outfit that aims not just at podiums and pole positions but also looks out to bring fans closer to the action! Owners Tyce Carlson, Chris Williams and Scott Williamson along with team Marketing Strategist Patrick Shelton have put together a vision for Fan Force United as a team that looks to win over hearts as much as winning races.

The team has an energy and enthusiasm that I have seldom seen in the many pit lanes I’ve been at. Racing nuts, fantastic engineers, solid technicians but mostly great guys!
